I agree that Panacea Innovation and Cancer Research UK will share my “Personal Information” with each other. Cancer Research UK will use my details to contact me in regards to this project or other entrepreneurial initiatives and Panacea Innovation will only use my information to contact me about this project.

Panacea Innovation
PanaceaStars is a deep science translation vehicle created and administered by Panacea Innovation Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 09378046, whose registered office is at The Magdalen Centre, Oxford Science Park, 1 Robert Robinson Ave, Oxford, OX4 4GA.
Once your data is shared with Panacea Innovation it will only be used for purposes related to this project and in accordance with our privacy policy. In particular, we draw your attention to the section below headed “Our Liability”.

Eligibility
Details of how to enter OncoStars are available on the OncoStars page at our website.
The programme is open to all students, academics, scientists industry professionals and other aspiring entrepreneurs aged 18 years or over.
Mentors
During the course of OncoStars mentors may be made available to participantss. Each mentor and participant will be encouraged to enter into a non-disclosure agreement to ensure that obligations of confidentiality are in place regarding the participants’ confidential information. However, participants are responsible for seeking their own legal advice without any liability on Panacea Innovation and Cancer Research UK.
Intellectual Property Rights
Panacea Innovation is the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Website, and in the material published on it, including the trade marks “Panacea Innovation”, “PanacaStars”, and “Panacea Ventures” and “OncoStars”. Panacea Innovation and Cancer Research UK are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Website, and in the material published on it, including the trade marks “OncoStars”. Those works are protected by intellectual property laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. You must not use any part of the materials on the Website for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.
Subject to any existing or future agreement, you will retain all intellectual property rights created by you during your participation in PanaceaStars and OncoStars. However, in order to protect those rights, we recommend that you take legal advice as to what innovations are disclosable.
By registering for PanaceaStars and OncoStars, you grant us a non-transferable, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use your team name, team description, one-line pitch and non-confidential idea description for marketing purposes.
By registering for PanaceaStars and OncoStars, you also agree that we share all of the information you have submitted with Cancer Research UK.
Our Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: we expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, under the common law, or otherwise; and we expressly exclude any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by you in connection with the Website or in connection with your participation in PanaceaStars, however caused.
Privacy
For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”), we are the data controller. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. For the purpose of the application to OncoStars, we may collect and process data contained in information that you provide by registering for OncoStars and in your correspondence with us. This information includes, but is not limited to, your name, address, date of birth, email address, information about your company (“Application Data”). The Application Data collected as part of your application to PanaceaStars is subject to the same Privacy Policy as the Personal Data (as defined in the Privacy Policy) collected from your usage of the Website.
Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to the Website. The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
General
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in PanaceaStars.
We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the OncoStars programme where it becomes necessary to do so. During the treatment period, you should refrain from engaging in potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles or working with mechanisms). If any court or competent authority decides that any provision of these terms is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These terms shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Any changes Panacea Innovation and/or PanaceaStars makes to these terms in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
