Stride aligns science and strategy to build a compelling, investment-ready business. It helps aspiring entrepreneurs turn their scientific discoveries into products and early-stage companies that address real-world challenges. Participants learn how to develop a product with a compelling use case, design a go-to-market and commercial strategy, and get ready to raise investment.

Eligibility

  • Scientists, clinicians, engineers, and entrepreneurs with a clear understanding of the discovery or innovation that they wish to translate and commercialise.
  • A discovery or innovation that is sufficiently mature: there should be a visible path towards a product that can address a real-world problem (Technology Readiness Level 3-4)
  • Any professional background and all career stages.
  • Alumni from Ignite ready to progress.
  • No previous experience required.

Onboarding webinar providing details about the programme and an opportunity to meet fellow participants.

Bootcamp

High-intensity training at the University of Oxford. Seminars and workshops will cover key topics including intellectual property, regulation, finance, product development and commercial strategy. One-on-one mentoring sessions will provide an opportunity to deep-dive on specific challenges and obtain expert IP advice. The Gala Dinner presents an unparalleled opportunity to hear from successful early-stage entrepreneurs and to network with fellow participants and the wider ecosystem.

Sprints, webinars, office hours and pitching practice

Participants take part in two online sprints, implementing learning from the Bootcamp. Panacea staff and Mentors will provide ongoing support and availability for one-on-one discussion, coaching and pitching practice. Webinars cover topics not addressed during the bootcamp.

Submissions Deadline
